NASA’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration in the National Airspace System, or UAS-NAS project, will sunset at the end of 2020 after nearly a decade of effort across NASA’s four aeronautics centers along with multiple industry, academia and other government partners. The project identified, developed, and tested technologies and procedures to reduce technical barriers associated with unmanned aircraft having routine access to airspace occupied by human-piloted aircraft.​ | NASA Aeronautics
